What Airsoft Gun should i get?

Well, i recently realized that my Pulse R72 was not going to hold its own against the countless numbers of ECHO-1 AEG's my freinds had. of course, i could just go out and buy an Echo-1 AEG. but thats kinda boring and cheap. And sniping is not my thing. i tried it and i freaked when people got to close.
Jsut to give a listing, my arsenal right now contains:
2 UHC mini-Uzi's (kinda pointless, but horribly fun!)
1 KSC M-11 with 1 Clip
1 MK-23 Spring Pistol with 1 clip (lost the other clip during a skirmish

)
1 Crossman Pulse-R72 (the one i want to replace)
I have found that i enjoy the M-11 quite a bit, its great for rushing, but it lacks the long range accuracy needed 75% of the time in the style of skirmish my friends and i participate in.
Right now, im thinking of building myself my own Select Fire Gas rifle, powered by HFC132a. But i want other peoples input. (the reason im using HFC132a is becuase at 50 PSI, a 350mm airsoft barrel with a .2g bb hits 350 FPS, and i dont want to kill my friends..........)
So, i guess the question is, Echo-1 AEG, Lots of spare clips for my M-11 and a job to pay for the gas it will use, or my own gas rifle. I will post plans for the rifle shortly........

umm how much money do you have? If you have enough, you should get a echo-1 or JG, same brand except echo 1 puts a warranty and has less lemons, g36c. They are really good for the money. If you want a gas pistol, go with kwa, tokyo marui, ksc, or western arms. Dont buy from airplat. Crap services. Just warning you ahead of time. Buy from Airsoftgi.com, or evike.com.

yeah, i get my BB's and gas from Evike. 10,000 high-grade .2's for 23 bucks, and for 35 bucks 5 1100ml cans of Green gas, its the airsoft cheapy's favorite deal.........
and i dont want to spend more than 200 bucks........ aka like 160 for the gun and then some accecories......
i think i want something SMG-style, not a G36c. its a little bit big for my liking.
I think i might go for the Well MP5K and upgrade it with an M110 spring. Sure, its Well, but Well isnt THAT bad. and its only 120 bucks.............
The MP5k is the size im talking about. i could go with a slightly longer barrel, and mabey and extendable wire stock or something, but thats aobut it. ive decided to become the Master of Micro SMG's...........
hehe i oculd also get one of those CO2 pistols with the Fugly stock stiking out the grip.......
EDIT: i think i found what i was looking for :
http://store.matrixbb.com/servlet/-strs ... Air/Detail
its a little bit big, but im a stickler for thompsons.

never heard have that brand for the thompson. G36c's are pretty small. They have a folding stock so they are great for cqb and woods. If you are going to get a well mp5k and putting in a spring, the gearbox will prboably mess up pretty quickly unless you get a new gearbox or reshim the whole thing since it is basically all plastic in there. If you look for jg, there guns are around 120. They are the same brand as echo 1 just that echo1 took the guns and rebranded and put a new warranty on them.
Here is the brand i am talking about.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPat ... bb8258a03d
They shoot about 320-370 stock.
http://www.airsoftgi.ucts_id=2282
that is also a good brand. The a&k s-system is almost all metal. I was going to buy that until i saw the tokyo marui m4a1 ris. That is my current gun right now.
if you could save up a lil more longer, you could get a aug from classic army for 245. or a tokyo marui mp5k for 215.
IF you want a gas,
http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=139_25_63
these guns are nice. If you get the glock 18c you can shoot full auto and semi. KWA comes with a metal slide which is a good thing so it will not wear out fast the thing is, it doesnt come with trademarks. I dont think it will matter. KSC Comes with trademarks but comes with a plastic slide so it will wear out faster. Tokyo marui and westarn arms makes really nice gas pistols but they are probably to expensive.
If you want, you could get a shotgun. shotguns are very nice. You can get ones with shells or jus magazine.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=2282
that is a very nice shotgun. IT is magazine fed. it shoots one at a time. It is almost full metal. It has a collapsable stock.
Tokyo marui also makes nice one where they use shells. It shoots 3 at a time. The shells hold about 30 bbs so you can shoot about 10 times.

yeah, i actually looked into the S-system for a while. then i saw the M-11...........
lol. I think i might go for the S-System again now. sure its kinda big............but it has rails out the wazoo. it gives me a use for my scope
of course, when i get into my crazy mode of "GUHAHAHAHA FULL AUTO AND TAKE OUT THE BUNKERRRRRRR" mode im gonna have some problems. hey, thats what holsters are for.............

lol jus to tell you dont hold on full auto for a very long time. Do like 3 shot bursts. Also, if you want to upgrade, you should reshim your gearbox so it can hold new springs. If you put new springs on it right now, it would wear out faster so the best thing to get is the kit from g&g. Then get a new barrel. Then after that get w/e you want and your good to go

Yeah, its one of my problems. if i dont have at least 250 rounds in the gun, i run out in seconds. hey, it works................
i know that i take my Pulse R72 sometimes and mount my scope to it. its not accurate enough on semi to really hit anything, but on full auto, i can get the spread of BB's big enough i can hit whatever i aim at, giving i have 10 seconds to fire at it............

well, if you want, you can get the a&k box mag that holds like 1000? or more. they sell em at airsoftgi. ITs only like 30 somethin bucks. The thing is, its wind-up so you gotta keep winding it.

there is a mod where someone made it look like everytime you shoot, you could see the bolt move back and forth. Also, do you know how to get rid of blowback on a spyder? I'm making my spyder into a pump and was wondering if there's a way to get rid of it.

actually, amazingly, i have tried that mechanism before. it works great. take out the bolt catch and it goes full auto with AMAZING rof. might have to try that. its the same way the KSC M-11 works, exept the M-11 has a little thing that directs the air to the blowback piston once the BB has left the hop-up chamber.
i might try making that again. i realized a modified shrader would make an awsome hammer vavle...........

Would that blow back design work for a pellet gun?

by VH_man
sure, i dont see why not. it fires paintballs, it fires Airsoft bb,s why cant it fire airgun bb's?
of course, you might want to delay the blowback some. pellets take more force to accelrate than airsoft bb's.
my reccomendation is to make it so that when your chamber pressure goes below, say 20 PSI, a spring-loaded air cylinder (Tire pressure guages work perfectly, just epoxy them to a 1/4 inch pipe nipple) will move back to the un-pressurized state and open the breech. when pressure is re-established, the breech closes again. its not great for full auto, seeing as sometimes the chamber pressure may enver go down to 0 PSI, but if youre looking for Semi-auto do that instead. youll save alot of time and the hassle of perfect air-seals.
in fact, would a tire fill guage work well for the blowback piston? im thinking it would work quite well. either that or ill buy a cheap air cylinder and modify it. i dont like making my own air seals, i dont think anyone does.............

How would you delay the blow back? Also to make it maazine fed all you have to do is make it upside down.
