Help with refrigerator hook-up

Hey everyone,

I have this refrigerator but the placement of it in my kitchen is too far for the water line to reach to a water source. Plus I don't have a port and anything to hook it up to.

I don't want to spend money on some idiot plumber with the famous butt crack showoff to do it for me. So... Since the fridge is already against the wall and is heavy with my food in it, I can't tell what size connector is on the water line. On-line searches isn't a help, either. I was wondering if there is some universal size that my fridge has, too.

If so, I need some sort of connector so I can hook up some more line to reach the sink. Then I need to know what I need to get to split the water line coming from the wall into two so the sink still has water and the fridge gets some, too.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

well i just got a new fridge i didnt look too closely but the fitting are suppose to be universal and this one looked like a 1/4 compression fitting. get a 1/4 compression fitting tee some 1/4 tubing (1/4 OD) and a 1/4 compression to 1/8 thread fitting.

Cool, I'll be off to Lowe's in a couple of hours, then. Thanks!
