I bought a HyperFlea a couple weeks ago. It's a ridiculously overpowered delta wing made from EPP foam. 2:1 thrust, unlimited vertical. It's unbelievably fast, but the wing design combined with its raw power lets it fly low and slow as it hangs on the prop.
It has a brushless outrunner motor and a lithium polymer battery. All together it weighs about 7 ounces.
Look at the pictures toward the bottom. That's my plane.

i almost bought one of those, but i am scratch building a plane now with a 8 foot wing span.
ill be using a .48 mds engine that weighs more than your entire plane.
edit- this is my newest store bought plane, its an SE5a. it too has an out runner brushless motor and a lithium battery. it has a 20 amp ESC.

when you say "unlimited vertical" does that mean you can fly it straight up (verticle) without it stalling? Sorry I dont know much plane jargon.

looks like it could use a bit of refinement with some fine sandpaper and maybe a bit of wax polish, since speed is an issue - you can make the fin profiles a lot sleeker, and the surface finish smoother.

Not necessary. It's made of EPP foam, and that's as good as it gets, and good as it has to be, actually. Any covering material would require spray glue, and that'll add weight. The fin profiles are as sleek as they get without being a weak spot. They have to protect the prop in case of an inverted crash. They work pretty damn good too.
And yes, unlimited vertical means it can continuously climb straight up. It's amazing to watch, too.
The range is over a mile in the air. But with the size of this thing, you wouldn't be able to see it that far away.
