Alright, so I did a search on Ebay for a QEV, as I'm looking into using one for my next gun...Anyway, most of the things that appeared were from a Paintball marker called the ION made by SmartParts. Anyway, would it be okay for me to use this as my MAIN FIRING VALVE on an air compressed gun? And if so, would I need to make any modifications?

I'm not sure how big the valve is either...

Help would be appreciated :D

would a 3/4 inch be big enough for a mid sized gun if it is the primary firing valve?

Should do, unless you want to go for incredible raw power, if thats the case use a 1" but that will likely set you back $220 or so, and you really wont need it. So yeah, a 3/4" should suffice, although i have a 1/2" QEV and the old beast has brilliant flow, so it, just buy a 3/4" QEV, theyre good.

The QEV for an Ion paintball gun is a little dinky one. Trust me I have built 3 Ions. They have 1\8" fittings.
