you can usually find a variety of individually sold springs at local hardware stores, or use mcmaster.com if you must
if your magazine uses non sphere ammo your should look into ordering some music/memory wire for making custom shaped springs simply add an electrical charge and bend

Yeah, BUt Mcmaster does not ship to AUS.
And I don't know where alot of you other Aussies live but I can't find springs at my local Bunnings.

1 valve is going 2 let all air out the other is to let air into chamber so i don't have to waste air while i reloadf.c wrote:make the spring yourself and the ball valves get them from bunnings. what exactly are you making with 2 ball valves and springs ?

You will probably have only half the power for each shot.1 valve is going 2 let all air out the other is to let air into chamber so i don't have to waste air while i reload
For example, if you use 100 psi each of the two shots will have the power of a 30-70psi shot (depending on the volume between the two valves)
Not to mention your using a BALL VALVE.
Maybe a piano/music store?!?!?music/memory wire
Just use 1 ball valve, with two, your better off buying a sprinkler valve, or making a piston valve for way less money.
A regular chamber takes about 7-30 seconds to get up to reasonable pressures with a bike pump.
If you don't want to "waste air" either stop breathing (and die) or make a 0.2-1 C:B ratio1 valve is going 2 let all air out the other is to let air into chamber so i don't have to waste air while i reload

ok wit the ball valve lets say they called in and out the in one is only goin 2 stop more air from getting in after i shot. then i will close the out valve and open in let more air into chamber then close it and it proble goin to be connected to an air compresser so if i don't shoot like crazy it should be allright. i'm alsotry to figure out how i can move all the valves so when i pull bolt back it does all. i just wanna use ball valves coz they are less work

Sprinkler valves= Drill a hole+epoxy blowgun.i just wanna use ball valves coz they are less work
Use proper spelling and grammar, im on the edge right now.
HAHA! You really think you can do that that easlly?!i'm alsotry to figure out how i can move all the valves so when i pull bolt back it does all.
Ball valves are harder to turn that you think!
Again, your gun will most likely suck, since the small amount of air will significantly decrease preformance unless you use insanly high pressures(most commercial compressors only go up to 135psi) And you are using a ball valve which SUCK unless you use a burst disk.ok wit the ball valve lets say they called in and out the in one is only goin 2 stop more air from getting in after i shot.

thanks mate i found them hopfuly they will work good thanksMrCrowley wrote:Try Mitre10 in Aussie.
When my Dad owned one here in NZ they stocked quite a few springs.
Bunnings- Springs are located in Builder's Hardware (that term still makes me laugh).
Normally just to the left of gal brackets...
They should have atleast 20 diffent types even at "smaller" store's.
Springs are a compulsory line to have in all stores.

You know you can just ask shop assistant who's paid to be asked questions...........though I personally find it uncomfortable doing so.
