Hello again to all,
I'm currently looking for a co2 regulator to preferably fit on a 5lb co2 tank. i know that there are a lot out there for 20 ounce tanks, but i would like a slightly bigger one.
i've found a lot of regulators, but my only problem is that almost all of them are for beverages, and thus have a popoff valve that "pops off" at 53 psi or so.
does anyone know of any that don't have this? IF not, can that safety valve be removed somehow?
I don't want to dump money into one, then find out it won't work for my purposes
EDIT: WOOT! 750th post! cool brigadier general single blue star!

and of course...

Beverage regulators generally dont have pop off valves set that low, the pop of valves are ussually designed for tank over pressure (i.e. set at over 900psi)
I have had great luck with beverage regulators in my projects and they should work well for you unless you plan on running pressures higher than 150-200psi

well no higher than 200, but the ones i found had popoffs, i'll double check the pressures again.
I know for sure at least 2 had popoffs that low.. i'll keep ebayin.
k i've kept looking, and a lot of them just say that they have popoff valves, and dont specify what pressure.. looks like i might have to pop off a couple messages to them.
EDIT 2: the highest pressure i found them going up to was 120.. but i'd like higher than that, could you help me out with some possible links please?
this will primarily be used for an inline vortex airsoft gun, and according to neospuds webpage, he runs at 130 PSI, and i would like to have one that high.
if i can't find a 5 lb one for cheap, i'll just go with a 20 ounce tank or maybe run some sort of adapter from a 5lb bottle to a 20 ounce male fitting and use a Kobalt Co2 regulator for that.
would that work do you think?

I'm using a "nitrogen" regulator, like this one;

You don't "need" to use it @ 450psi, but it's nice to have the option.
