This was approved for direct fire at D-Day? Holy crap, kudos man, kudos. I've always wanted to go to D-Day, but it's half way across the continent for me. I'll make it there someday, probably after I build my King Tiger tank.

Freakn awsome man I love it I wish I could get one. Wish I was at d-day would have loved seeing it in action. Has the website been updated yet for it. That paint also turned out amazing. Hope you make some money off this. Also what mags will it be in.

Looks like happy days on the launcher front.

Would be interesting to compare it to concept scribbles and sketches from five years ago.

Methinks a more substantial barrel sock is needed, picture 3's one does not fill me with confidence :P

holy crap, i thought it looked awesome before but that is sick :D if i was playing against you i would have to get a whole sqaud against you :D
yo could make a really big verision with a stand and have a semi auto howitzer or you could mount another one on a scenario tank and be the king of the paintball field :D

is that by any chance your seconday weapon? or are you a tank killer and it is your primary? were there even any tanks there? im sorry i have to type this much but that gun is f#@king awesome. i have one more thing cause i know you are tired of hearing me talking. are you selling those yet cause i really want one. its pretty depressing to look at that because i know ill never make any cannon that looks that good

Launchers are selling for just under $1500 with six round belt. Lots of requests from magazines for interviews. Oh, and the guys from Valve saw the launcher a year or two ago regarding the cousin comment. It is going to be in a different video game though. On a side note, Greg Hastings took delivery of one today for use at the BLANDING game in Florida. Two will be on the same side there using the foam rockets.

Have been approached by a half dozen manufacturers... crazy days have found us. More pics and videos soon. Trying to build the parts up to fill orders. Big build party on monday. Will post pics of our progress.

My spidey-sense tells me that Valve's next paintball game will feature an Eclipse. They've been long overdue for one, since the last one was a mod for CS 1.6.

Woot :D

HOLY CRAP!

I was googling for more info on the eclipse, (very cool, Solar) and I came across the following pic...

Image

WTF!?!?!?!?!

Somebody once asked what got us into spud gunning.

Developing THAT projectile got me into it. Me and some other guy I'd never met developed that together. I did most of the design work, he did the manufacturing and such (he owned a machine/tooling shop that specialized in plastic/rubber dies and such).

We built that sucker (I built a cannon simply to test aerodynamics and such). We then found out that liability insurance on the product would probably kill us.

I dropped out.

I guess he didn't.

Wow. I'm not sure whether to be pissed or amused.
