@POLAND_SPUD Sure man... I spent all morning looking to "Valvula de Escape Rapido" aka QEV ;)

3/4" - 122,00 Brazil reais = 76,15484 US$

or

3/4" - 130,00 Brazil reais = 81,1486 US$

At eBay 3/4" US$ 27,00 + Shipping, that I dont know how much is ^^"
Surely the "final" cost wont be more than US$ 76,00

I´m a little bit down... I guess I will use a Ball Valve...

Lemme go home... I´m at work...

* Edit:
Portuguese = Brazil
Spanish and everything else = Others country in South America

How much did you pay at your QEV? And what "size"...

I got my 1/2" QEV for 39 zl
in comparison a 3/4" QEV costs 56 zl

now 39 zl is almost exactly 16 $ but it was cheaper in dollars back then because the value of dollar is falling and the value of zl is rising

Keep looking for them - I toke me some time to find a shop that sells them for such a good price.... I've seen some shops in poland where they want 120 zl for exactly the same model of valve

I've got a better idea, you could just copy->paste the link into google, then press the TranslateThisPage-button, the grammar wil suck, but hey, it's no longer in french... :idea:

Well, after translating for about 5 minutes, I've managed to figure out how he built the piston.

Looks like he took a pipe cap that fits just inside the Tee he's using, he then super glued a tire patch to the end of it to make a gasket and glued the spring to the back of the cap.

Hope that helps a bit. I'll get to work on the rest of it tonight, got a long night shift in front of a desk with nothing better to do.
