I'm sorry if this has been posted before :( I'm not on too often here.

My idea is to use a hot glue gun to make a breech.
(1) So you get a sample of the barrel and you get a larger size pipe

(2) Fill in the space (Inside the larger pipe and outside the smaller barrel [The barrel size you'll be using]) with hot glue.

(3) Now you should now have a cylinder with a hole in it.

(4) Create a handle. I have seen other breeches created with a hose clamp and pvc

Note: You'll probably have to grease it

Again, I'm sorry if this has been thought of already. Most things I post have either failed or already thought of (not intentional).

I haven't tried to make this yet but will soon (I'll probably see the replies first though).

I hope I have contributed to the community.

so you intend to make a sealing sleeve using hot glue, it works I've made semi-seals for experimental breech systems using hot glue

how do you lock the barrel in place? and can't you just use a female coupler of the same size as your barrel for this purpose?

Well my barrel fits to my cannon (interchangable) by just pushing the barrel into the female.

Now that I think about it, you could just use a coupler, but wouldn't you be limited on the the length of the ammo by the length of the coupler?

I see in a way how my idea failed :(
