I was wondering if anyone new the theory, or even more useful, some equations, to figure out how many times a CO2 cylinder with a defined amount of CO2 can fill a chamber with a defined volume to a defined PSI. For example, a 9 oz (avoirdupois ounces) CO2 cylinder, and a chamber with a volume of 188 fl oz to 100 PSI. Either that, or how to find the volume (at atmospheric pressure) of a defined volume of gas pressurized to a defined pressure, and the volume (at atmospheric pressure) of a defined amount of gas or liquid (weighed in avoirdupois ounces).
I want to know this so I can figure out how many times I could fill a potato cannon from a paintball CO2 cylinder.
Thanks!
P.S. If I find out how to do this, I'll write up a calculator/app in C to make it easier for future calculations.

first do you have a cannon with the proper materials to withstand Co2.
second do you have a regulator that you can connect to you cannon from your Co2 tank

Do I need specific materials? PVC can't handle it? I figured that it could handle any gas really (oxygen, nitrogen, CO2, helium, air), as long as it's a pressure the cannon is rated for. Yes, I do intend to use a regulator (I'm not going to push 1000 PSI (it's hot here in Florida) into schedule 40 PVC).
