Hello all I currently have a pneumatic rifle and the air chamber is not substantial for 5 or more shots so I'm looking to upgrade first off I have a couple of options I have a fire ext rated at 2000 kpa or I can get my hands on soda stream bottle .... What one would be better and how would I fit that to my air rifle (adapters) the second thing is regulators for the air chamber .... What ones do you recommend for the job no more than 150 psi I can put through gun ...

Exactly .... At the moment it's running on the methane of a flys fart ... No pressure at all ... The reservoir ATM is a galvanised piece of pipe with a shrader valve , shit right.... I need more pressure with larger volume ... Without spending over 50 dollars for a reservoir ... And also my parts may not be strong enough to hold 300 + psi so I need to change system parts ...

About the reg, i think palmers pursuit female stabilizer is a good choice. there is a low pressure option 0-200psi. whats your source of pressure?
i do multishot this way: make a self closing piston valve (put a spring behind the piston) and fill from the chamber. the piston need equalization hole or not being airtight. the presure source could be always on;

yep ok i need a source for high pressure such as the air chamber ... i need it to hold around 500 psi ... and then a regulator to support those pressures ... will the regulator support that amount of pressure from the canister... ?

i think copper pipe is ok for what you want. type L or K can hold 500psi without problem;
exemple:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6013&

remember your system is as weak as the weaker component, everything must be rated to the desired pressure.

there are regs at palmers pursuit that can be used with hpa 3kpsi;

the source could be a hpa paintball tank, co2 tank, scuba tank, whatever is easyer/cheaper for you. in my case, co2 is easy to find and cheap.

Yeah mate thanks for the information but i in fact need a source for a tank because i live in australia everything is limited, HPA tanks are rare and CO2 tanks are practically non existant ... i need something close to my place that i can buy such as CO2 bottles from soda stream, but now i have a different problem i need something that fits the thread of the bottle because they try to limit the stuff that they make in aus, so that you cant make stuff such as an air rifle or other dangerous weapons.

Im looking at the regulator now i think it will do but same as before, it needs to fit the thread ....

Copper pipe, at the moment i have copper pipe for my QEV, Barrel, 45 degree piece for trigger and thats it, the rest is galvanised steel, apparently rated for 300 psi .. plus its heavy i might try and change it for more robust rifle.

i have a co2 fire extinguisher 6Kg, and use it to fill 20oz painball tanks.
palmers reg fits paintball tanks trheads, and fill stations fit fire extinguisher; if u want soda stream, at palmers they have all adaptors you need; also beer keg cilinders are normaly same thread as fire extinguisher.

cilinders and fill:

paintball tanks and fill station(adapts big cilinders to paintball tank):

and if it doesnt work, make friends at a hospital, they have hpa and co2... :)
i have a friend at fire department in my city, and they have scuba tanks there too. even if they dont fill for you they can indicate where to go.

you can also import them empty with no issue's at all.
