First off, to be quite honest every cannon ive made has used a sprinkler valve, i now want to make a gun with a QEV and a slide valve for firing, only problem is i dont want to have to manually slide the valve to fire, is there any way to essentially pilot( im not sure if thats the right term, ive only used modded spr. Valves, no experience with all these other terms) the slide valve with a trigger/ blowgun. Thank you in advance! :o

No.

Long answer, solenoids, spring loading it and chucking on a sear and trigger, hiring a Mexican to do it etc. Your answer will be mechanical, not pneumatic.

The slide valve is a manual valve. So no, it's not possible.

QEVs can be triggered by blowguns if desired though... or slide valves can be given triggers. Have a photo of my early take on it - the red part is the sleeve on the slide valve; it wasn't sprung at this point, but it can be.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
