im putting my cannon together right now and im using two 1" sprinkler valves. i have the pressure tubing clamped onto the valves and led to a 1/4NPT T shape. my question is, would i be able to open both valves effectively if i used a blowgun as the actuation valve? note im using the blowgun with the red thumb cover. if you can help me on this please post some comments asap, thanks.

It should. But a ball valve or 3/4 sprinkler valve would open better.

no, the blow gun can't release as much air as quickly as the sprinkler valve can. the blow gun is only used to release like what? 5 cm3 of air? (thats was just a guess flamers) but yea stick with uur sprinkler vlaves.

If I was you, I would just go with QEV's, a 3/4" qev will do a lot compared to a sprinkler valve. Im not sure if it would be useful to you though, as they only come in 90* angles, no inlines. you can even get 1.5" qev's. they're on mcmasters. if you want to see them, sgort has some pictures of them on spudfiles, im not sure about on here though.
I wish I had a better signature...

Scrap the whole idea and get 3"sprinkler valves exhausted with a 3/4 sprinkler valve. But i dont see why this wont work with just the blow gun aslong as there isnt to much air to port with all of the hose(if u wil be using hose).
