The whole mechanism is housed in a 1/2'' PVC coupling, stem is sealed and there's practically no dead space. I made this with the intention of having it line fed. I need ideas for a hammering system, I want a small hammering system, but I have no clue where to start. What do I even make a hammer out of...? O_o

Cool! Take a picture of what's going on inside!
My first thought it to use it as a trigger in a self-loading system that has a QEV or other quick diaphragm / piston exhaust main valve. In any case, it looks great! What a nice, clean build!
you could make a regular hammer. A short pipe with a weight inside and a spring to push it.+ a trigger. Myself i did it from an old washer machine shock absorber. it has most of components inside it. Sure if you respected the pins valve diameter ...etc.
It would of been simple to use the block from a fire extingusher. It has everything you need for a airgun + a pressure gauge .
As we talk about thing to reuse....I had been testing, and it working pretty fine..those "things " that cleans the windscreen of your car. I dont have my words with me now, hope you know what i say..
