this was and existing gun all i did was paint it and sawed off the barrel.

100% improvement from when it wasn't painted. This gun looks bad ass painted black like this, nice job. I would suggest turning the blowgun around though that might just be preference. That way it's more like a trigger where you squeeze with your fingers instead of pushing with your palm.

Did you use krylon paint?

i did not use krylon paint i used all purpose stuff but i have submerged on water to see for leaks and evrything and that paint has not even wanted to come off so i think it is all right. and the reason i have blowgun like that is because it is off my inline gun.

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.

Wow the difference is amazing, im really impressed out how much better a few mods made. For some reason i think of a sub-machine gun when i look at it though.
