As my idea evolved from
HERE i decided to head out and do it.

RESULTS:

-Power: medium, i had about 20degrees C where i was shooting so i had about 100psi.

-Its pretty cheap to get and easy to find.

-Amount of shots i got from a half filled 9kg gas bottle got rid of 40+ marbles with plenty of gas to spare.

- the smell was pretty bad, i had to flush it with air a few times and drench my cupboard in deodorant to get rid of the smell.

all up, i'd never use it again, mainly coz of the bad smell and lack of power for MY GUN i think ill stick with the higher pressures with my FLOOR PUMP untill i get a HPA tank or similar.

hope this helps all that are looking for alternate pressure sources.

Have you Thought of using co2? Not sure what HPS is but Co2 might be worth a try. CO2 has higher pressure and they use it in paint ball guns a welding gage set up should work, you can set the pressure to what you want with that thing making it easy to use. But it just an idea.

^^thats from the thread linked at the top of this page if you diddnt have tim to look  I have thought of it alot to be honest, HPS?? wtf? i think you mean HPA which in short for High Pressure Air.

the fact is i just might have to go with CO2, i can get it but it would cost a bit but i think ill get a backpack sized one.

neways, this aint a thread on CO2 nor is a thread on what i can use, its a thread on why or why not you might want to use propane as an alternate gas.
