question for someone with the answer i've recently joined the spudfiles online to get help with my MG spud rifle its powered by two 9v batteries hooked up to a solenoid that is connected between the air chamber and the barrel, the problem with shooting it is that the solenoid doesnt allow enough air to past the barrel ive checked out the barrel and the air chamber but its the solenoid that has me puzzled, does anyone know of any solutions??[/url]

Chuck the solenoid in the bin.
Replace it with a blow gun and you're gun will not only work but increase in performance. Check out the spudwiki located at the top right hand corner of your page labled 'Wiki' or search around the site for stickies or how-to's on how to mod your sprinkler valve.

well, depending on your "lingo"

to clarify on MrCrowley's suggestion, he means the solenoid of the sprinkler valve, not the whole thing (which is sometimes called a solenoid valve).

i belive, it is infact, that the modding of a sprinkler valve is stickied in the howto's

Yeah, I mean the black(usually) thing ontop of your solenoid/sprinkler valve where the wires come out of.

I believe what you're talking about is pneumatically modifying the valve. There's a great article on this in the Wiki section (link at the top of every page) - Here you go http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/inde ... dification .
Please search before you post simple questions. This forum has a HUGE database of information available, just a search away. Also, you'll get along with the forum patrons a lot better if you use decent spelling and grammar.

Peace,

Yes indeed. Modifying the valve should solve all your problems. Now, do you mean MG as Machine Gun? If so, does it have more than one shot or is it just a single shot sniper rifle? Pictures please.
