2.5" Threaded Plug
ya, i think it is 1/4 OD. the funny thing is that it fits into a 1/8 npt thread, so maybe it is 1/8''

Well, npt threads are rather strange. 1/4" npt requires a 1/2" drill bit
OK . . . so after all that confusion . . .
lets say I want to get from a piece of 1" sch 40 pvc down to a paintball barrel. So far I've found a 1" coupler, and a 1" to 3/4" reducing bushing. So 3/4" sch. 40 will fit in the bushing.
Will 3/4" sch. 40 PVC fit paintball?
or
What else can I use and how can I get there from a piece on 1" pipe?

SCH 80 has the same OD of SCH 40
yes, but the ID is smaller, therefore, it fits paintballs much better.

No, I was just saying that it would fit in regular sch 40 fittings. I prolly should've said something about the ID, but I was just too lazy to do so...

I would recommend a 3/4" CTS CPVC barrel. It's a perfect fit for paint balls and usually easy to find. To adapt it to the gun i would get a 1" coupler and a 1" spigot x 3/4" Female threaded bushing and a 3/4" CPVC male threaded adapter for the CPVC.
I can't get to the hardware store and mine's pretty crappy too, so I was looking on mcmaster for the CTS CPVC.
I found "CPVC Tube", and the 3/4" has an ID of .695". Is this the stuff you were talking about, just under a diff. name?
(Its on page 185 at the bottom)
EDIT:
"Sized the same as wrot copper tubing and fittings,"
Nevermind.
I hate being reminded how helpful it is to read the print before asking questions.

Yes this is a double post, but I answered my last question myself.
So for my piston the rubber I had been using was from a drum mute. It wasn't very good quality, and I have been looking on Mcmaster for a new piece. So many choices! I think I want just the standard neoprene, a 4" sheet, but I don't know how thick it should be.
Help?
