I noticed that your valve is very similar to mine. What you do with the flow control rod and all that? I assume you just gutted everything you didn't need and threaded in a blowgun, right?

Indeed i did, the flow control stem needed a bit of drilling to make it threadable to a 1/4" fitting, but once i did that, it was all good. The diaphragm reseals itself after every shot, thats why i took out the flow control, totally not needed and it only restricts flow.

Since someone has dug this thread up for me, i might aswell post this >>

What happens when you fire a water filled Oasis Bottle at a piece of 1" Plywood at 90psi?

Damn! That's brutal!

Guns like these don't deserve to be buried within the forum. Bump.

haha I used to test oasis bottles as a QA analyst, all the full bottle had to survive was a drop test from 2 metres :D

well done :)

Thats an awesome gun! I'm hoping to make a tennis ball launcher similar to yours except its going to use a piston valve. I'm very excited now considering how powerful tennis ball cannons are! :D

You mean the sprinkler valve? If you didn't know that I suggest you do more research on pneumatics before planning a build.

I second that.

Also stop bringing up old topics. (Not that this one is very old...)

This one has a 2" Piston to replace the Sprinkler Valve.
