Very nice design. The only problem i see is that it may be a little awkward to hold if you're holding onto the handle and the blowgun the chamber might be in the way of your elbow. Shouldn't be too bad though, you can probably just deal with it. Just a heads up.
Or are you firing it shoulder mounted since you have a stock on the back of the chamber?
Where did you get your blowgun? Is it already 1/8" npt or will it have to be reduced down to it? Cause i have the same valve and i can't seem to find a pistol grip one.
What sorts of pressure to you thinnk you'll be using it at?
Now you've pressured me into coming up with a design!!

i'm working on a similar one - currently shooting at different pressures to calibrate the GGDT model, then will build final to optimize gas use & minimize weight.
right now, 24" 2" dia sch 40 PVC barrel, 21" (incl. fittings) 2" dia galvanized chamber; main valve is 3/4" QEV piloted by secondary 1/4" QEV (both Deltrol); the secondary QEV is piloted by blowgun (gives MUCH improved performance for the $12 i paid for it at McMaster!).
with only the main 3/4" QEV piloted by blowgun, the sound was a deep "FWUMP!" just like a sprinkler valve. after adding the 1/4" QEV, the sound is a definite "CRACK!" more like a paintball gun. all this at very low pressures (~50 psi).
set up for CO2 through Palmers Stabilizer. will be connecting a 9-oz CO2 bottle, which right now gives me ~15 shots.
the consistency is amazing - at only ~50 psi input, i'm getting 150-160 fps. most paintball fields limit the rockets to 140 fps.
i was shooting it in my house "sniping" some stuffed animals. here's a "damage" vid: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=p333to
i'm using JCS F-69 foam rockets - they fly very straight, cost same, but use sch40 for very good fit. JCS emailed me that their mass is 32grams. i have some nerfs that i shot from it, but the tails are starting to separate from the foam body...
i like the way the chamber is set up on yours - may copy that for my final
p.s. i started a showcase for it & will fill in specs. tonight... http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/dual-qe ... 12691.html

Are you sure that blowgun isn't a regulator? IF it is it might have a check valve in it to prevent backflow. I'd take it apart to find out. If it is you might be able to take out the check valve. Do it before you start building so you won't be disappointed

Alright i was just confused because in the link it showed it with a gauge on it. Still test it in reverse before you start building
