That system of yours is really a direct blowback system.

Okay, it's indirectly a variant of recoil, in that it's absorbing the equal and opposite force of the projectile. But when talking about recoil operation, it implies something more than movement of the cartridge and bolt/slide playing a part in the operation - generally the movement of the barrel.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
