Thats how many pumps of a ordinary bicycle pump?xD. Also, I'll be firing some kind of magnetic ball, instead of standard BB's, these things can take a beating. plan on making 6MM air guns after this...shall we say..initial..experiment. Now the problem is, the stuff that I buy is from a Chinese hardware store 2 blocks from where I live ( I live in the city) and they understand very little English, but I'm pretty sure they don't have 6MM copper pipes, where do you guys buy your materials? ( Aside from Home depot, I'm talking like..online)

I suggest you buy a blowgun, and a 1/2" nipples

Copper pipe is epoxied in the nipple, which screws in the blowgun nozzle, somethng like this:



Sandwich a correctly sized o-ring between the nipple and the blowgun, and you have your detent.

Your chamber can then be epoxied to whatever fitting is at the bottom of the blowgun.

Yes, I'm aware these fittings will cost some money.

No blowgun triggers here, I have to make do with a hose trigger...uhhh....my copper pipe isn't threaded

I don't really know what to do, so I'm just going to buy a hose trigger, a 1/2in nipple, epoxy, some o-rings another nipple ( if needed, to connect hose to the air chamber (a water bottle, I got no soda bottles in my house...) It's snowing like hell outside..

you really need to do some r&d we cant tell you how much psi you pump makes with x amount of strokes, get a pressure gage and use coke or other fizzy drink bottles there at lest a bit stronger.

I don't got one, thats the problem, and I don't have a soda bottle..I don't drink soda often. I'm going to sue a water bottle and buy a bottle of soda next time I head to Costco.

As posted above, you should use bottles made for carbonated drinks (even sparkling water for example) instead of non-carbonated products as the latter are not made to contain pressure.

Maybe this is more within your resources

NOOO, don't give me another design, I refuse to look at that xD, I'm alsmost done, I screwed up the valve on the hose because the air was leaking in between the metal and the plastic, but I found a solution for that...
