someone had mentioned using a rubber cork as a piston for 1/2 tubing?

if you are that person , what size was the rubber cork and what kind of tubing? pvc or copper this would help for my mini gun i want to build!!!!4

I believe it was jhalek90. The rubber stoppers are sold at Ace or other hardware stores and are already sized for copper pipe.

jsefcik, i'm sure even you don't require plans to bike to the hardware store, bring a piece of copper that is your piston housing and fit different sized rubber stoppers in the copper 'til one fits.

Perhaps I'll regret saying that.

You already knew the term 'rubber cork' from the post you were looking for so why didn't you search it? Advanced search > 'rubber cork' > very first result. It was even the first result in the, notoriously bad, quick search.

Anyway, what's your problem now? Why is it that you can't go to a hardware store and test-fit these rubber corks?
