Thanks guys. :)

trae08, I used the dead weight tester at my work.

It's essentially a hydraulic pump with a hydraulic piston and calibrated weights.

Lift the weights which are stacked on the piston, and you know how much pressure is in the system.

Super accurate to put it mildly. It goes up to 15 000psi.

Mine is 8)
just kidding

Anyway vid makes it look powerful and that was only 120psi
The extreme pressures your taking it too should give a little more omff

Fair enough to get up to a few thousand PSI at work but what about at home mate? What's the PSI range you reckon you're able to achieve at home? With a fridge pump, 600psi or so I spose :?.

Scuba tanks and hpa for paintball are 3000psi. :D

I currently have air, CO2 and N2.

Next big project. :D :D

Hey Mitch.

Too slowly for my taste, but progress is progress.

Between site plans and permit applications (building a house this summer), I have the stock about 3/4 done.

Best of luck mate. I hope all goes well with the house building. My parents are in the process of building 2 houses at the moment so I know how time consuming it can be.

All the best and have a good one,

Mitch.

I really can't even comprehend this gun at 3000psi... That's just mind bogling power...

Whoa. Super cool. I mean cooler than I had actually imagined. Swaging your own slugs with (homemade dies?)..

... So if you get "500grain slug @886fps " thats like 800 something FPE!

So from your pictures I am wondering: Are you designing it to be multi shot(only a fraction of the reservoir depleted) or to dump the entire air supply with a shot?

Also, if you are dumping the reservoir in a single climax are there going to be issues with the friction of the air generating excessive heat to the components?

In any event....Looking at the pictures and imagining left me with a big foolish grin.

With the hammer valve that acuates this gun, it's hard to say if it'll be a repeater or not. Unless there is a spring behind the piston, it won't be a repeater. I just finished my high pressure repeater that uses a high flow modded pop off valve, almost no pilot area and a spring behind the piston, I'll have to post it soon!
