I tried that light spring idea awhile back.
These are the problems/difficulties with the design.
Spring To Powerfull - Pushes paintball/ammo against barrel roof and has too much friction with the ammo below it and the roof, and can get jammed with the other ammo if they 'lock' in place as they both try and fly out the barrel.
Spring To Weak - Pushes the first few into the barrel, but the ammo at the bottom doesnt make it.
You need like a pneumatic ram
or some system like a kitchen tap:

Like you would have a tap on the bottom of the mag threaded in and when you screw the tap it pushes the washer seat up which pushes the ammo into the barrel. Only problem is it could take a few seconds to do so and makes it kind of pointless.
Oh and another problem with a strong spring is sometimes it loads two paintballs/ammo if the ammo gets to the top under so much force it 'rolls' of the other ammo(being both sypherical(?) and then loads 2 ammo into the barrel instead of the desired one. Best option is to go with a Grav Mag that has a 'flap' but I think Markfh11q(?) had some 'feed' issues and took it out.
Or you could hook up the blow gun exhaust to the bottom of it, Have a 'seat' inside the mag which is O-Ring sealed to stop leaking and put a check valve at the bottom. The blow gun exhausts the air which goes through the check valve pushes the 'seat' up which in turn pushes the ammo up enough to load in the barrel. If all goes to plan the more shots you have the more air in the mag to push the seat up...but as im writing this I can all ready see a few flaws.

i thought you were black too but anyway...is the pvc handle part were the blowgun is attached used at all for the actuall valve or is it just screwed on there for convience?fom wrote:Very nice gun, well built.
