Awesome post!

BTW,
...It's surprising how far the water droplets can fly...
Reminded me of an old idea I had involving two projectiles meeting head on at center, with vent holes, inside of [liquid] filled container. 8)

Bleeding bullets? Have you ever shot the decimator full of water? That would probably be VERY dangerous without a mount.
Yeah, it's that important.

I was refering to something not at all hand held, that the water spewing reminded me of is all.

Although, a water filled barrel would probably be manageable as long as it shot out BOTH sides at same time with same length barrel and equal mass water on each side centered (or just balanced based on mass and barrel length maybe)...recoiless! 8)

No i meant like if the barrel ie the thing that projectile comes out of. If it was filled with water it would have some crazy recoil.

What I meant was if the water (or whatever) was centered and equal barrel length/mass each side, the recoil will cancel itself.

Been done before, IIRC there's a Swedish assault rifle that uses the concept as well as larger stuff.
One of my first posts on SF's involved the concept since I thought it'd be usefull on cannons (although very wastefull too).
