Here's the kind you use right?

<a href="http://www.sprinklerwarehouse.com/detail.aspx?ID=916"> 1" Rainbird 1" FIPSxFIPS Jar Top </a>

and most people don't use RainBirds because they're known to leak...

I don't understand where you could get 8 threads, if you really can I might start using those, can you take a picture?

And a "vapor cloud" at 40 psi doesn't mean anything, it depends on the tempature the elevation and the humidity, i've made them at 20psi or less before...

what would be the reason for using a 3/4" over a 1"? For that matter should you just make a 2" or 3" piston type valve instead? It seems that a 1" valve on a cannon with a 3" chamber doesnt make much sense since it bottle necks the pressure but then releases it back to typically a 2" barrel.

some people(like me 3 months ago) are too stupid to make a piston valve, thus-they go for a sprinlker

I have a problem exactly like everyone else's.

I bought a Rain Bird cp-100 valve. I didn't put the threaded adapter in the exact middle. I still put it on top just off to the side. Then everything was going fine but when I tried to test it, the air just leaked out. I put it in the right direction but it still leaks. What do I do?

EDIT: it was a 1" cp-100 valve

Modding the valve

Why can't you just add the air gun valve in the existing solenoid hole?

You can but the flow will be crappy.

It release's pressure on top of teh diaphram(sp?) and causes it to open.
I believe there is a animation floating around somewhere.
Basically the blowgun replaces the solenoid.

Welcome to spudfiles.

THX man, I kinda get it. but where does the pressure in the blow gun come from?

Ohh and i think i might build one of these, what do you use to bind the tubes together.

Sry about the Double post, But does it matter what side is intake and output?
Or is it either side.

If one side is intake, how do you tell? (is it labeled)
