Glad I'm not the only one! It died when I tried to shoot a heavy steel motorcycle fork without strapping down the barrel. The recoil flexed the barrel up and broke the gun at the weakest point, which happened to be the joint at the air chambers. Of course when that happened they turned into rockets.

I just read all 7 pages of this thread, just to find out the cannon is dead! It's a shame I was quite inspired by this and was hoping to see it in action. Great job nonetheless! Thanks for the inspiration. My current larger cannon shoots about as far as my current range will safely allow. I guess if I build something like your Cannon I'll just have to start throwing larger objects.
It's never too late to build a 4.0... wick wick
