Also can someone tell me how I can calculate how long the chamber should be? Since the pipe was so expensive I don't want to use the whole meter since the barrel is only a meter too. Then I can make another gun outta the left over 80mm.

If you're working at normal compressor pressures (100-150psi), a 1:1 chamber/barrel volume ratio is more than enough - in your case it looks like 25cm of chamber is about all the length you need.

Why would you have gone through the trouble and expense of using such strong pipe and not use it to its full potential? Low pressure high volume works well for larger calibres but for your thinner barrel you'll want at least 100 psi for decent results.

As far as I know weed is as legal in Oz as spudguns are, if he choses to publish these interests online it's at his own risk and doesn't reflect on our hobby as a whole.

Ok I guess your right I'm just a bit of a wuss when it comes to pressurizing pipe, but I'm sure I'll overcome my fears after a few shots.

Actually spudguns are far more illegal than growing marijuana, now I'm over 18 anyway. Ive had cops take 2 of my guns but I was under 18 then, so they couldn't do anything. Now I'm over 18 If I got caught with a spudgun in the boot of my car Ide probably go to court for weapons charges. Where as growing 2 marijuana plants outdoors would only incur a either a warning, a $100 fine, or the attendance of a drug education class, it's at the discretion of the police officer.

Very nice construction material. As other have said, about 1:1 of C:B is fine .. but that is all individual taste. If you want a compact gun with a short barrel, and still have high performance, get a little more chamber to the barrel. If you hand pump, maybe a little less.
Or play around with the numbers in the GGDT program.

It seems to be a rather small valve for the chamber and barrels. I use a 63 mm tee for a 50 mm barrel, a 32 mm for 25 mm., etc. I also have a 75 mm tee valve for 75 mm barrel, but I have never had air on it so I cannot tell you how it performs..

Maybe, keep the tee, make the valve, and get a much longer 25 mm barrel. You don't need as so pipe for the barrel; the pressure there will be somewhat lower than in the chamber.

I dont know what state your from man but in NSW youd get f&cked up for growing, its a big fine and possible jail time. Its considered a saleable amount if over, i think 5 grms and thats a decient fine in itself.
Where as with a spuddy if you weren't being dangerous with it the cops would have a laugh, take it from you and use it back at the station.

Are you serious? Really, like it's more criminal to grow a drug than to build an Air Gun. well your probably right. Some guy got fined a shit load and had his gun melted for having a revolver in a safe that his father had been given by his dying friend in the War. Pretty friggin' cheapo.
But In NSW some guy got put in gaol for 5 or so years for growing pot.
