I was fiddling around with my paintball gun, and I was about to install a QEV in it (makes the bolt cycle faster, among other things), and I thought to myself, "Hey, this is a QEV. QEV=Cannon!" This could make building a mini pneumatic cannon quite easy. What do you guys think?
The only thing I could think of is how to trigger it.

Easy enough, fill and trigger through the hose end.

Problem is I don't believe ion QEV's bother threading the exhaust port so it would have to be a fairly improvised connection to a barrel.

Might be ok for a bb gun.

This has been tested IIRC and the ION marker QEV is way too small to allow great power.

Also, benstern has 666 posts D:

i think it could be decent for launching small blow darts at decent velocities if the pressure was around 120 psi.

PM me if you want one. And they pretty much are only useful on bb sized ammo.
