This is my first cannon, yeah.... it's bad, but at least it works and I made homemade ballistics gel which was fun

You need to use steam in that thing... It could be done with no modifications, and could give it decent power if you added a longer barrel.

i might, i have those heat gloves for moving those fire logs, so maybe, but won't it rust?

If you use galvanised it won't rust. I've only used steam guns up to 160 psi, due to my lack of any good sealing face materials for high temp, but steam is usually similar to hydrogen in performance for a given pressure, sometimes moreso.
Whatever you do, don't expect any wonderful performance out of a gun this size without light gases and thousands of psi.

i shoot darts at my homemade ballistics gel which is in front of wood so i'm safe unless i pump it to 400 psi which is my pump limit
I used the one on the right

thats some impressive power-especially with a ball valve gun
how close is that ballistics gel to the original?
If it's close, you're putting out some real force there!
grats on first cannon

Nice an simple, a much longer barrel will produce more impressive results though, especially at those pressures.

Very nicely done for a first cannon.
My first was similar to that it was just configured in a different way.
And where did you get a pump that goes to 400 psi?
