hey guys i wansa just ask your opinion about this cannon basicly its ust my burst disk put on tripods its goes in a full turn up down and sides, full operational, i dont think this is suppoed to go in show case cuase i just wana see if you guys like it

naw i don't really use it for accuracy its for range so i can adjust it to the right angles, its from a drum set

Now that it has a stand, it just needs longer barrels, bigger chamber, larger porting, PDTCFBD valve, automated loading, self cutting disks, computer controlled targetting and automatic compensation, tungsten carbide APFSDS rounds, built in mains powered 3kpsi compressor fed from a liquid helium tank, SCH 160 316 stainless steel chamber and barrel, and a 70" plasma TV.

But seriously, good job. I don't think a drum stand would hold the SCTBDC though...

wow i have to try all those things they sound easy ha jk, mabey two or three could hold your SCTBDC because they have a pretty good support structure.

The SCTBDC fully assembled weighs well over 100 pounds, and on the shot I took for the video comp, the recoil snapped a 4x4 on the stand in half. I'm building a tougher stand with wheels to compensate, but I doubt that three drum stands could hold it and survive the recoil.

Interesting use of a drum stand. My experience with the things is that they aren't hugely sturdy, but if that's enough for what you need, that's fine.

Talking about accuracy and recoil, the heaviest of my cannons so far (HEAL of course) is around 13 or 14 pounds with all the trimmings, but that's still quite a lot. All that weight coupled to even the respectable MV doesn't create that much recoil, between about 3 to 12 ft-lbs recoil depending on the projectile. I don't need my bipod to help with the recoil however, it does help with the aiming.

Bipods don't flinch... but neither do I (I've never fired anything with enough recoil that I'm at risk of getting one), so the more important thing is it's a lot steadier and doesn't tire.

this is pretty sturdy though it balences out because the tripod legs are so spread out apart

Damn how'd ya manage that? My SGA is 14 pounds, and that's a bunch of PVC and fittings, brass and galvanised fittings, a huge piston, a modded sprinkler valve and 1.5" barrel with big threaded fittings.

Oh and yeah cool stand for the SGA, ah I mean burst disk cannon
