Well this is my first ever full copper and brass Musket.I haven't been able to shoot it yet,because I need one more fitting!Which will probably be longer then a week away due to me being Broke.Anyways here is the run down.
~specs~
70cmx20mm Brass Chamber
77cmx15mm Copper Barrel
Piston Housed In 20mm Tee
Schrader Filling Valve
BlowGun Pilot Valve
10 - 300psi running pressure
365fps @ 150psi with 7gram sinker
I might shorten the barrel to make it more compact and essayer to carry around and also then I will have some spare copper pipe to mould some projectiles out of,the main ammo will be Lead shot.There will also be a Ramrod and a cleaning Rod Made from Brass,and possibly a suppressor from brass and copper depending on how loud it is.I will do some Shots with different types of rounds at some Ballistic Gelatine to get a nice view of the power I am dealing with here and along with some Chronographing to see the energy this gun produces.
I will also be shooting some random objects that people suggested before which I cannot do anymore due to my neighbor,but some of them will be jugs of water,coffee cans full of flour,watermelons and steel plate.
UpdateThe gun is glued and I am waiting for it to cue and then it is ready to shoot!
The Final Result!
This is the Copper Musket Mk II,with it's new set up and I'm very proud to be the owner and builder of it and it is great to shoot.The pictures say it all,read above for the specs.
There are a few things I have added to it's original design,like a Stock and barrel supports which have holes bored in them allowing for the ram rod which is made of brass to sit below the barrel.It is pretty accurate and not as loud as I thought it would be with shortened barrel,but a suppressor might be on the way.

looking good, what did you use as a piston?

I used a piece of dowel which I picked up out of my shed and it was a perfect fit first time.Some Neoprene for the sealing face and a small screw.

Looks good so far Duelers, you made very good use of that Brass that you found. Is that piston a cork? I think you may have problems with it jamming due to the compression of 160psi, i may be wrong though, good luck with the build

thats pretty cool, it should have a fair bit of power but it seems a waste to only pressurize it to 160psi

I will go higher trust me,but I can only take it to 160psi as of now and the near future until I get a higher pressure pump.
I would love 300psi shots trust me.

Around 80 pounds,so it's not cheap.But I'll do some searching and see what I can find around the place,hopefully one cheaper then that.They are capable of 230bar pressure though,so you get what you pay for.
