want to find out if it is passable to modify an air blow gun to handle higher pressures like 150+ im new to the fourm so i cant really find where it wold be if it was already on here. any help is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know they can already handle those pressures. I think Ive seen a blowgun or two taken past 200 psi. I think since its such a small piston area it can already take high pressures as it is. And even if it fail nothing is going to happen except the piston going out.

The only mod you can do is to increase flow, itss quite simple if you have a dremel, I forgot who posted how...

I did the Mod on my two Blowguns, it works really well.
Just make sure you don't destroy any of the plastic or sand it down too far.

I routinely take mine to 350 without problems.
Blowguns used to be available in Brass. I'm not sure why they are just zinc(I believe) now.

Zinc is softer I believe and cheaper. Don't they copper plate zinc for our pennies these days?

Yup, In popular science the scratched a pennie, and then dissolved the zinc on the inside. It was slow, but it left a REALLY thin copper plating.
EDIT: this really is in the wrong section, crowly can you change it?

o i didnt know how high some of them whent up to mine was cheap and tops out at 90 psi....ill look around for better ones. thanks

It is probably one of the kolbolt or husky blowguns which are both rated to 90psi they are both fine up to 400psi(pressure tested them myself)

hawkeye....did u mod yours or is it just an expensive one?
