Pneuest Pneumatic

So after I'd changed out all the DWV fittings on my 3" Barreled Pneumatic, it failed miserably. The 1" Valve was way to restricting. So, tonight I pushed the piston to the back burner and used some scrap fittings and pipe to build this. This is my first modded valve and I threaded a female quick connect onto the valve top. That will let use only one blowgun on several different guns (not at the same time). I also threaded a quick connect to the endcap rather than a schraeder valve, that will reduce the fill time and allow me to keep it hooked up to my framing compressor. Turning that ball valve will cut the flow from the compressor. I already have some over/unders with this chamber to barrel ratio but I am hoping the modded valve will give me a boost in performance. Even if it doesn't I am counting the new air inlet as a win.
Thanks for looking,
Thomas

Very nice, no DWV. I dont think i've ever seen someone use a quick-disconnect on their sprinkler before but as long as it works its fine. Why at the end does the pipe make a 90* angle? Couldn't it just keep going straight. But anyway it looks good and the modded sprinkler should really boost performance.

Thats a pretty nice gun.
Chambers a little overkill but thats a good thing if you have a big enough compressor.
The 1in valve slightly constrics flow in this but not enough that it would be worth it to replace it with a 1.5in or 2in one.
How is the power?

Why a quick connect may i ask?

1)The power is better than my over under with an unmodded sprinkler valve. (Same barrel and chamber size)

2)Its actually pretty manageable, but my compressor has wheels and I have about 200 feet of hose

3)The quick connect on the chamber lets me just hook up to a compressor and flick the ball valve when pressurized, much less fuss than a schrader

4)The quick connect on the sprinkler valve lets me use one blowgun on several different launcher, since blowguns are about $5 and I can only shoot one at a time anyways

nice gun, long gun tho also :? you should use a 180 and fold the chamber back on itself bet it packs a hell of a punch tho
