Really? I thought that's 2".
@johnnyboy,
I have no idea, 3" pistons are probably the worst to work with. Go 4"

Any ideas for that? I will if I can find the stuff for one.
I will need:
3- 2-4 pipe increaser's
Home depot has not had a decent pvc section...

Take a ruler to the store, I'm sure you can find one.

Argh another "piston idea" topic! Is it really that hard to imagine something of your own?
Walk around the house, find some stuff that fits in, put some duct tape around and attach some inner bike tire DONE.
Or just cast one out of hot glue.
Just take a ruler and measure all cillindrical stuff you see, also check stores where they sell pvc, measure up some endcaps and stuff.

Wow, great advice! Think I'll build a space ship and fly to mars!

How about a tin of something, go to the shops with some 3" pipe and I'm sure there will be something that fits good, or just use epoxy or wood.

Try using polymorph. It's inexpensive very durable and also very light.
You can have the back hollow to reduce weight further, then just put a polymorph cover over that to keep the pilot volume down.
