Well, with 4 spray 'n prays under my belt i decided to make a pneumatic. I wanted something with the same size bore as my previous small gun (S&P), but with more power, so i decided on making a 1" psiton valve.
Specs
- 1" barrel sealing piston with 1/2" port
-Pilot- 1/2" ball valve
-Fill valve- Schreader valve
- 1/2" female threads for interchangeable barrels
- Barrels- 1/2", 3/4", and 1" burst-disk/confetti
-Operating pressure- 80-100 Psi

Nice first piston, good job getting it to work.
And P.S. im sure you know but a towel really isnt a good backstop.

The gun is so so... compared tot he valve and the ammo! Making a piston valve on you're first try is really impressive, and your ammo is (like always ) great. Keep it up!

I'm really impressed with your first gun being a piston valved one. Mostly, you hear about peoples' first using a BV or modded sprinkler. Good job on the gun and ammo!

i no, that was just to slow down the projectile before it hit the
brick wall behind it

Good job on the ammo and the piston, like the others said. I also like how I'm not the only one to figure out that heavy fabric doesn't quite stop a speeding projectile coming out of the barrel of one's first pneumatic.

Man, that blanket got torn up. By the way, try using a bunch of those little mini-glow sticks that you clip onto each other. I shot a bunch of those out of the CA1 for the 4th. It was good fun.

Impressive, four big bores and I have yet to attempt a piston. Good work, though I wonder how much that thing flexes at the tee's. I don't know if you have any brace blocks in mind but a stress crack (though unlikely with that size and weight) is a terrible fate for a gun. Have fun with it and keep it up.

Nice piston - pretty cool for your first pneumatic cannon

Finally something to shoot that fabulous ammo you've been building.
The only thing I would suggest would be a sprinkler valve/airgun pilot replacement for that ball valve and a paint job.
Overall, looks solid! Good job...
