how a coaxial piston works

hi i bought £50 pounds worth of material for a t piston and it didnt work so im going to try a coaxial piston. i have read the posts about but im not a 100% shure. id love if id get some conztructive feedback its my first. I try to state how i think the valve works. theres a piston in a large chamber. inside the chamber a smaller pipe wchich is the barrel is threaded about 3/4 into this chamber. back to the piston again its solid and airtight with a rubber tip which is held in place with a screw?. there is a spring thats not that strong but enough to hold it in place and allow it to slam back when prefferably a qev opens up. the space between the qev and piston should be quite small. you also fill the chambert where the barrel is? please could someone give me the math, proportions and suggestions for the material and especially how the COAXIAL (that how you say it?) piston is constructed. thnks
