i am currently making a pneumatic cannon with a sprinkler valve. When i tested the valve after modding it with half inch ball valve, air simply just leaks out the Pilot. I have searched the fourms and one said that the equalization hole may be too big. my question is what is the equilation hole?

this is the valve i have and in the center of the diaphram is an Aluminum rod that slips through a plasitc disk in the diaphram. Is this the hole? Any and all help will be welcome

No you dont need to buy an entire new valve. Another guy just a few days ago had the same problem. He had screwed in the nipple for the ball valve too far and the diphragm inside would not actuate. Just make suure the nipple going to the valve isnt in below the plastic
