MY Musket

Sorry for the lack of pictures(I will put some soon i hope.) My gun basically has a carved stock and looks like a musket. I have scrapped the piston idea for now and returned to old technology. its a 50 cal marble gun that can shoot at 3 yards range into 26 layers of cardboard and 2 magazines. It uses just a spring opend ball valve and a large airchamber(thin) and a ball valve the same sixe of a marble. since it opens slow compared to a piston i jam marbles really tight and they can shoot into a 3 inch plywood.
Its funny that the actually impact is SO much louder than the gun that I barely shoot it. When you cock it then pull the trigger you hear a satisfying -ping- then a sharck crack and then a thump or bang the sound of a bomb going off when the marble hits. Mind you this took me 2 hours and it can do that at only 120 psi. im gonna use it up to 300 psi. Is there any way of measureing muzzle velocity from its penetration into card board. Remember it shoots throgh 26 layers wich is about as long as your wrist. I stuck a pencil through the entry and it only went through about half way from the exit! not bad for a £20 pound easy to build airgun i'd say! also the recoil is very large because of how fast the ball valve turns and hits the stopper it built.
Do you think this thing gets about 400 feet persecond? Ive always been fsinated with the napoleonic and american civil war. I dont want TO much power because i live in wimbledon london and i dont want my nieghbours to call the cops.
