Hey guys im new to the forums so dont be too harsh lol

So im gonna build my first cannon that ive thought about for awhile now so here it goes.

Its gonna be an over under type pnumatic with interchangable barrels and two tank that will allow two shots on each charge

Im probably gonna use 3" DWV(Jk im not that stupid) sch 40 at 2.5' legths for the tanks and each take will hace a fill valve and tire gauge at the end and the other end will have connections to fit one of those 2 connectors that they use for hoses. They look kinda like a "Y" with switches on each side side so i can use 1 tank at a time. The connector will then go to a 1" elbow facing up to another elbow that will connect to a 1" orbit watermaster that im gonna mod.And then connect the barrel to the other side.

Im gonna also make a few barrels including
1.SDR21 for golfballs
2.6mm brass for airsoft pellets
3.??" for paintballs
4.??" for tennis balls
5.2" for spud and waht ever else will fit
6. and finally my best idea is for a 4 barrel tenis ball shooter so i cand attach 4 balls to the corner or a peice of net and and make a net shooter.

So tell me what you guys think and any tips you cand give and any other barrel sizes and whateach barrel would shoot. :D

a golf ball and a BB cannon  somehow i don't think it will be practical as there would be soo much chamber volume compared to barrel volume if you stick a 6mm barrel on. the 2 chamber idea is good, but make sure all the fittings are pressure rated.

do you think if i used less pressude in the tank it would work

I think that interchangable barrels are OK, but your valve and chamber will be way to big for a BB barrel. Its not bad, its just a waste of air or pressure.

i might just make a smaller cannon to shoot bbs

If you used a lower pressure it would probably still be a waste of pressure, just because your chamber has so much volume.

btw paintballs are .68 inch, and tennis balls are 2.5 inches (strange size for PVC, might be able to find it at a [swimming] pool supply store)

Good luck on the net shooter. You won't get very much range from it and it will be an awkward thing to manage. The mythbusters built one and tried to catch pigeons with it....without much luck.

2.5" sched 40 best for tennis ball
3/4" sched 80 or 120 best for paintballs
1.5" sched 40 best for potatos
