.40 cal paintball barel(blowgun) or .68 CPVC barrel? I am trying to make a nice little bolt action for an M1 stock I have and want to get some decent accuracy. Thoughts?

I'd get the 68 just for the common availability of ammo.

blowgun barrel as blowgun darts will most likely be more accurate than paintballs

It depends on how stable and consistent the darts behave in the barrel when reacting to an impulse much higher than the couple of psi that human lungs can generate, only one way to find out ;)

And sorry, we are talking paintballs here. Granted they are horrible projectiles but can't be shooting darts at people and expect to live long.

Neither. Get 3/4" aluminum tubing (.68" inside diameter).

id go for the CPVC barrel. Im using it for my field-legal Semi-auto gun, taking advantage of the fact i can sleeve it all in 1in CPVC and use another section of 3/4 as the bolt.

I thought of that, but I wanna make a little gun for some plinking and .40 cal would be better on air. And hopefully a lot easier to silence.
