Okay, after destroying several pvc spudguns (the plastic just couldn't hold up to my awesomeness), I have decided to build a high pressure metal spudgun.
Most parts on McMaster-Carr, are labeled with the pressure rating but several aren't.
1. Can Sch 80 Seamless Steel pipe handle 3000 psi like all of the other Seamless parts?
2. I have This QEV, what pressures should I be safe taking it up to?
3. What pressure can a standard blowgun be used up to? What would be a suitable high-pressure replacement?
Pressure rating of several components

1) @3/4" it should but if I later find out you proved me wrong, ill personally submit your name for a darwin award
2)if you read the statment regarding (f) type valves (the kind you want) it clearly says maximum rating: 125psi
3) most are safety rated at 90-350psi... standard for 3 stage or less shop compressors...but have been used much higher... 3000 might be pushing it...

"<I>For dare to be peace, I have to keep at it everyday, da Man doesn't take days off so neither can I</I>" -<B>Bob Marley</B>, day before a performance, a day after being shot in the chest. "<I>If you are the big, big tree, we are the small axe, ready to cut you down!</I>" -Bob again :brave:
Well, I'm not going up to 3000 psi, its just that all the other seamless steel components (elbows, etc.) are rated to that pressure. The normal steel parts are rated to 150, and this is not sufficient.
@daxspudder
I am limited by the QEV, which I know can go higher than 125 psi. (see post above yours)
I am shooting for 300 psi or so, I just want to make sure I don't blow my self up.
Thanks for the replies so far!

@ Gramanam;
Have a read through this.

Should ease your mind somewhat.
On my copper gun and my "bb" gun, I use a blowgun to 400psi.
