1) what kind of F-ing title is that
2) like speak like properly like like *click click* *head movements*
3) you fail at maths you need like 4 valves yet afterwards you say you need 5 if you add them up

A better post:
Hello,

For an upcoming project i require a few sprinkler valves it does/doesnt matter if the solenoid is dead or missing. I need tem to be rather large porting.

If you happen to come across some secondhand that you do not want to purchase yourself then please let me know.

Sincerely,

Colty-bear.
You better get your butt back on ebay and google and on your way out check out the posting guidelines.

Dont search for a spinkler (or any other commercial valve) of 3" and larger. Even if you find one, this will cost you hundreds of dollars. Better of building a piston valve.
Even 2" sprinklers are quite rare and already VERY expensive.

Well 2" valves shouldn't be too difficult to find. If you can't find them online then you can probably find them in irrigation stores. For 3" you should look up Toro valves, they have a few models that go up to 3". For above 3" you can take a look at Bermad valves; they have some huge ones, but you probably won't find them for sell on websites, and you can expect the price the be enormous. http://www.bermad.com

Mathematical approach on commercial valves:
Diameter goes up linearly x^1
Area goes up quadratic x^2
Volume goes up cubic x^3
And the cost price.... goes up quadric x^4...

@psycix yes the above is often true...

but not always
a 1/2" QEV - 40 PLN
a 3/4" QEV - 56 PLN

QEV's up to 3/4 and sprinklers up to 1 1/2" are usually reasonable priced.
But after that, its

Alright thanks as up to 2 inch i may look for a sprinkler valve but for the 4inch i may just cunstruct a piston.
