Your post hurt to read, but it fits more than snug inside 2.5" sch 40 pvc. Use a stick or a piece of 1 1/2 pipe to ram it down to the end of the barrel. It should go down with some ease.

Yeah they are tight especially brand new balls. After you have burnt the fuzz off of a new one (yeah from a pneumatic as well, from friction) they will fit a little better.
Push it as far down the barrel as you can without inferring with the valve or piston, or entering the chamber. A breach loading tennis ball barrel makes this a lot easier.

Whatever you do, first load the ammo and then pressurize the gun.
If they are so tight they block of the air, it will help to turn open your pilot valve so the air can escape through that.
Ram it down as far as possible; but without interfering with the valve, ofcourse.
Most people use a broom or something like that to push the ammo down. But to easy loading, you can build a breech loading system, so that you can load the ammo from the back.

thanks
that makes sense to load then pressurize
i definetly want the air to have an alternative exit (other than explode)
