My newest pneumatic

This is my newest cannon, it uses a 1.5 inch modded valve with dual 3" chambers it is powered by compressed air or regulated Co2. The valve is piloted by a 150 psi popoff and a blowgun combo. I plan to paint after I am done tweaking the design.

Great gun, will look better with paint.

the valve is 1.5 inch, i'm assuming the barrel is going to be 1.5 inch too? if so what do you plan to shoot.

nice cannon. very powerful looking, keep up the good work

anyway, if you are using a combination of a 150psi popoff and a blow gun what kind of pressures are you useing in this?

to get even more power out of it you could

1). reduce the size of the piolet hose
2). get rid of the the popoff at the end of the blowgun (why is it there anyway)
3). mod the blowgun for more flow
4). moddify the sprinkler with a new diaphram or if you are realy serious convert it to a piston valve

hubb's e-book on the sprinkler is a great source on how to modd a sprinkler valve and a blow gun

I used the popoff to achieve a full auto.I operate at 160-180 and use a 1.5" barrel to launch mini billiard balls :D

that is a pretty high pressure there...
are you sure that you glued it correctly. i dont want this thing seperating at the joints on you!

and sorry for critizing the popoff without knowing what it was for.

what kind of loading thing do you have for full auto?

so if you have a good full auto loading thing then there is realy no reason for my advice i gave eariler

Great gun, love the pop-off full auto idea. Only critique is a paint job and maybe put some angle onto the barrel next time (might be there just hard to see from the pics)

Also hows that Kobalt Regulator? I've been looking at them and was wondering if they were worth a purchase. Does it fit other size tanks and what is the possibly pressure regulations on it? How many shots are you getting out of the 9oz tank at 160-180 PSI?

The regulator is actually from harbor freight and is a knockoff but for $35 you can't go wrong. :D It uses a lot of gas and have only used 20 Oz. with it.The auto feed is still in development but i have a blowback bolt planned.

just wondering how does the full auto work? great looking gun btw

The blowgun is opened allowing air to reach the popoff and open it to pilot the valve, then when the air is gone the popoff closes until the desired pressure is once again reached. In this design the popoff acts as a safety because for full auto you must hold it in.
