Hello again. This cannon is one that i completed a couple months ago. It was also my first pneumatic cannon. I got the idea first from clide and his semi auto gb cannon. I made a blow forward bolt and all but it kept breaking. After going through a couple of bolts i decided to just go with a regular breech loader. This is how it turned out.
It will shoot a d-cell battery through 1/2 inch osb. Too bad i don't have any video of it.
Specs:
chamber- 3' x 4"
barrel- 5.5' x 1.25"
valve- modded sprinkler (blowgun pilot)

Looks solid, but why didn't you put the sprinkler valve on the top? There would be less dead space.

Yeah after i made it i noticed that. The reason i put the valve on the bottom is so it's alot easier to hold it. You can see in the pics my trigger setup. Since the trigger is like that it makes it really easy to hold.

Why would you want to hold something that big anyway? If you shoot something too heavy, you may seriously hurt yourself.
Make a tripod or base for it. It would be much more awsome.
Anyway as i said before, i like the cannon. Maybe for a second pneumatic, you can go smaller and with a piston valve.
Ohh and BTW, flat black paint...Nuff said

cool... But i'm a little worried about the drastic chamber to barrel reduction, especially with a sprinkler valve.
I'd consider making a piston valve...

Yeah it really isn't that heavy. I am working on a stand for it but still need to buy the saddle and some bolts. How i positioned the trigger at the corner is kinda a problem cuz if you leave pressure in it while you are shoving something down the barrel, and you tip it up, it may go off. The good part is with how i designed the trigger is that actually shoot it w/o being in some awkward position setting it on your knee and pulling the trigger with your pinky finger.
