so i have some connections and i got 3 MAC spool valves for free. one used and the other 2 BRAND new, never used. the used one is a 4 way 1/4inch valve. the new ones are a tiny 1/8inch npt direct acting valve. and the other is Monster, its a 3/4inch 3way 2 position valve. i have 2 AV solinoids for them and 2 24vdc and i can exchange them to any valve. currently i have a 4 way on a qev cannon to make it a semi auto valve but i dont have a loading mech for it yet.

you could use the smaller ones to pilot a qev gun or to build an air powered pump (pressure booster)

1/4" one could be used as the main valve for .177" or 6mm gun

Compressed air valves from MAC, SMC, etc. are fine if you match the specs. Try to go for the process valve style vs. the control valve style to control actuators. And in the process valve style go for those that look like the sprinkler valves. That way you know you are getting a piloted valve with the ability to handle a large pressure differential. The valves are also heavier and not much of an improvement over the tried and true cheapo sprinkler valve IMO.

@bionic
but this valves are special because they are 3 way valves, whereas sprinkler valves are 2 way valves

so you can use them to build a semi auto.... or you can use them to fill and pilot a QEV...
