Don't make one out of wax. It will break on the first shot.
Unless you use 5 psi
Also that valve on that site is a chamber sealer, don't make one. If I were you I wouldn't make a piston valve at all, they are too much trouble. But if you do decide to make one, make a barrel sealer.

If you're making a 2" piston 1-1/4" PVC SCH-40 fittings fit very well in 2" SCH-40 pipe, and with patience can be made to include O-ring grooves by spacing pieces of fittings over some 1-1/4" pipe or a 1-1/4" male fitting like a plug.

Just because you can't get one to workIf I were you I wouldn't make a piston valve at all, they are too much trouble. But if you do decide to make one, make a barrel sealer.

You have to figure out how to get one working sometime, so you may as well start now. They are incredibly useful. Though, I wouldn't recommend a piston valve for a first build.
this isnt my first build i built one with a sprinkuler valve that i modded. i just havent put it on this site yet because it was winter and i couldnt shoot it but ill get it on this site as soon as i can borrow someones camera.
hey would this work?

Any 5 minute epoxy from the local hardware store should work. A longer dry time would be even better since you would not be rushing aroung once you have the epoxy mixed.

Clide was very helpful when I was going about making my first o-ringed piston valve.
