What hubb was trying to say(maybe) is that to make a gun that can even take more than one shot will cost you as much as a cheap gun...
It would also take alot of time. I'd suggest buying a cheap gun at wal mart. They're only about $25. If the problem is your parents won't let you... Try getting a nice sling shot. They're still not that much and it's fun to shoot at each other with paintballs.

Yeah, something like that.
Sorry if I came off as a douche, but he is right. You could always just go with a simple ball valve pneumatic, but to truly enjoy what you have planned, you are going to need something just a little bit more. If all you are wanting to do is to throw a few paintballs around in the backyard, then your best bet is to just go get you a Ghost Talon from Walmart. $20 and you're all set (but don't forget the mask).
Now, if you are more interested in the building of your own, then you've come to the right place. Lay us out a plan for what you think is right and we can go from there.
Oh, and welcome to Spudfiles.

take a look at this post to get an idea of how u wanna build it. find a design that u think u can replicate. these animations are usually a good starting point for any pneumatic project in my opinion. they helped me out plenty of times when i couldn't understand certain things.

You can also get a co2 powered gun callEd the blade for 20. It works well for what you want

There are plenty of examples of how to build a semi on this site. Just look around in pneumatic cannon discussion.

How much experience do you have building things? Specifically pneumatic guns...
A store bought gun won't explode. The only reason it would is if it was abused, beat up, or not using the right stuff for it.

well If you haven't seen my super simple semi, that seems like a viable option for someone new to this. Its hooked up to CO2, so no pumping. It requires no special tools, and with simple tee mag you could make it truely semi auto. check it out

Thats probably not the easiest design to make straight away. joining the trigger, sear, bolt and chamber valve together means you would need a good base to setup it all up in so nothing moves .
but good luck let us know how you go

and I imagine that this marker was used for drawing pictures
since say you have had no experience with building pneumatics yet you say you built a pbmarker I'm going to have to demand some proof
